Crobot, hailing from Pottsville, Pennsylvania are composed of Brandon Yeagley and Chris Bishop. In the Summer of 2011, Yeagley and Bishop created Crobot, joined later by brothers Paul and Jake Figueroa. In 2012 the band’s original lineup self-released their debut EP, "The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer." The Figueroa brothers departed from the band in early 2017 and were replaced by Dan Ryan on drums and James Alexander Lascu on bass in June 2017. In 2013, Crobot was discovered by Wind-up Records, and was officially signed in December. On May 13, 2014, they released their self-titled EP, which featured four tracks from their upcoming full-length album and received positive reviews.Their first single and video for “Nowhere to Hide” debuted on on May 14, 2014 and hit number 16 on the Mainstream Rock charts. On June 8, 2016 Crobot released their new single "Not for Sale" taken from their second studio album "Welcome to Fat City" which was released September 23 of that year. In November 2018, Crobot signed with Mascot leading up to the release of their newest album in "Motherbrain" coming on August 23, 2019. The album marks an emotional shift for the band says frontman Brandon Yeagley, "It's some of the heaviest material we've ever done, but it's also some of the funkiest; less about wizards and dragons and more about everyday turmoil and the struggles of life. I think it’s a much darker record, musically, lyrically, and thematically. We're widening the Crobot spectrum even more. It's the catchiest too." Speaking of catchy, the first single from the new lp is "Low Life" and it's already garnering rave reviews from Rock Radio!
